How Are You Bringing Up Your Child?
Last Saturday, while re-watching the brilliant (and often brutal) series Succession (thanks to that day's non-stop early rains disrupting the order of my day), a particular line from the Logan Roy character struck me. He tells his children, with a mix of affection and disdain, "I love you, but you are not serious people."
This got me thinking deeply about the future of my children. Should I strive to build a specific "world" for them, filled with pre-arranged advantages and structures? Or should I empower them to discover their own passions, navigate challenges, and ultimately forge their own unique journey?
That's why I'm reaching out to you, our wonderful member, with the question:
How are you thinking about the future for your child?
Are you planning to create specific opportunities or a certain kind of environment for them, or will you encourage them to explore and build their own path in life?
