Elijah Omagor is the Managing Director of Konnect Initiatives and has been active in the financial services sector since 2006. He is very passionate about commercial transactions, business law, finance and African development.

Elijah holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from ESAMI. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and has been a practicing lawyer since 2006.

He previously worked as Head Legal and Company Secretary of Nile Breweries Limited (NBL), a subsidiary of ABInbev. He also served as Legal Manager at Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited and as CEO at P-Save, where he grew its portfolio into a million-dollar financial institution.

Milly Nabikolo serves as Credit Manager at Konnect Initiatives and is a forerunner of Konnect Initiatives’ Financial Inclusion initiatives

As Credit Manager, Milly is responsible for managing the company's credit process. Since joining Konnect Initiatives in 2024, she has been a partner in developing all aspects of Konnect Initiatives’ credit process and products. In the 10 years before joining Konnect Initiatives, Milly was responsible for Branch management, portfolio management, and the Finance function for P-save, where she worked with P-save in the development of associated financial inclusion strategies. Milly graduated from Kyambogo University with a degree in Economics. Milly serves in her local church

Deborah Sarah Avinyia has served as Konnect Initiatives’ Chief Executive Officer since 2025. She sets and drives the company's strategic goals and oversees its day-to-day management.

In February 2023, Deborah was appointed General Manager, leading Konnect Initiatives’ establishment of key decision-making committees that continue to guide the firm’s strategic and operational management today. She began her Konnect Initiatives career as an Executive Assistant, and then in the Credit Department, driving transformative initiatives with leadership that led to the creation of the firm’s credit policies, and other SOPs, which she rose to oversee, and the formation of the firm’s current-day Management Committee, which governs credit and investment strategy and decisions. She is a dance choreographer.

Grace is at the helm of our growth strategy, driving our revenue and expanding our market presence. She masterminds our commercial operations, from pinpointing new opportunities and shaping our pricing, to overseeing our sales and marketing efforts. Grace ensures every aspect of our client engagement is optimized for success, ultimately strengthening our financial performance and delivering value to our stakeholders. Grace holds a degree in procurement from the prestigious Makerere University, she loves to raise and mobile funds for for causes she believes in like wedding and spreading the Good News.

Mary is head Customer Relationship Management which focuses on providing a range of capabilities to help members meet their financial goals. She is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with members; understanding their needs and preferences, providing excellent personal service, customer interactions, personalizing experiences, and resolving issues effectively. Mary joined Konnect in 2022.

Shaddai Kamoga is Marketing Officer at Konnect Initiatives, responsible for managing the company’s investment process. He oversees the systemisation of Konnect Initiatives’ market research into product strategies, manages members' expectations and financial growth, directs the design and implementation of client acquisition strategies, and publishes monthly Market understanding and Financial topics to clients and policy makers via the company email newsletter and LinkedIn. Shaddai also co-leads the firm’s Sustainable Mobility Investing efforts, overseeing the design of new investment solutions with both financial and sustainability objectives. He joined Konnect Initiatives in 2023 as a Student intern from Cavendish University.

Outside of Konnect Initiatives, Shaddai is a Destiny Moments Cohort 1 graduate, a Co-founder of Alibaawo.

As a committed advocate of enhancing entrepreneurship and financial literacy, Shaddai worked with Imuka to extend affordable financing to Businesses, especially the SMEs. He is a serial entrepreneur with “a couple of business initiatives.”
